Thermolec electric boilers can take advantage of low electric heating rates in many parts of the US when used with dual fuel or time of use programs offered by utility companies, monthly heating bills can be significantly reduced when compared to natural gas, propane and fuel oil.  Designed to be either a stand-alone heating source or to work in conjunction with a fossil fuel back-up boiler and automatically switch between the two systems, resulting in the lowest operating cost available for both new construction and retrofit applications.
